How We Work On The Voice

Practical, body-based work with real physiological foundations.

You’ll learn how the different parts of your instrument work together, so you can sing with more control and freedom. Everything is rooted in vocal science, including a few myth-busting insights that could change the way you think about singing.

Working with the Microphone

An integral part of your training.

We work with both naked voice and microphone, each serving a different purpose. If you want to sing modern repertoire and be truly stage-ready, mastering the microphone is essential, not only for style and the real demands of performing, but also for vocal health. No serious performer steps on stage without knowing how to handle the basic tools of their craft.

Technique & Repertoire

Not just exercises - but not just singing for its own sake, either.

We combine technical awareness with songs you actually want to sing. Technique supports your style, while working on repertoire gives context and direction to your growth. How much we focus on each depends on your goals and current needs.

Songs To Practice

After the first assessment, songs are chosen together — blending your taste with my technical guidance.

Each piece is selected to serve a clear purpose: sometimes to stretch your range or explore new vocal colors, other times to consolidate technique in a style you love. This way, every song becomes both enjoyable to sing and a strategic step forward for your voice.

What Happens Between Lessons

Home practice is essential for real progress and an integral part of the work.

Real progress happens between lessons, through regular practice at home.
I’ll provide clear exercises and guidance to keep the work effective and manageable.

At least a minimal, manageable level of home practice is expected to move forward after the Discovery.
